Your First Visit: What To Expect
Your first visit to our Louisville, KY dentist office will likely be quite different than visits with other dentists. Plan to spend 1- 1 1/2 hours getting to know us while we take the time to get to know you and understand your dental health concerns and goals. Angie will greet you at the front desk with a smile and helping hand should you need it.
Dr. Westermann will meet with you personally during this visit to assess your oral health and work with you to determine the right treatment plan should additional dentistry be requested or recommended.
If time allows, a professional dental cleaning will be performed and your hygienist will recommend at home oral care for a healthy smile between visits.
Our dental examinations typically include:
- Periodontal screening for gum disease
- Oral cancer screening
- TMJ and bite analysis
- Diagnostic imaging as needed
