Dr. Alyssa Dykgraaf, DMD
Hi, I am Dr. Alyssa Dykgraaf and I am so happy to be working part time with Dr. Westermann and her team! After working in a corporate practice after graduating in 2010, it is nice to be in a practice that always puts their patients needs above their own. I’ve been told I am very gentle and I always strive to make all your visits as comfortable as possible. Some patients even fall asleep on us! I am also fluent in Spanish, getting a Bachelors in Spanish from Acquinas College in my home state of Michigan.
I currently teach at UL School of Dentistry in the general practice residency program. The Doctors I work with have already graduated dental school but stay on for advanced training. Its so gratifying to be a positive part of their education. I also work with the elderly in nursing homes, taking care of their dental needs.
I am married to Dave Naselsker, an Oral Surgeon here in Louisville and we have two children, Katherine and Henry. We have a horse named Roy and a pony named Arthur. We have a Corgi named Hazel, who thinks she’s human! I like to do 3 Day Eventing…which is kind of like a triathalon on horseback. I also help coach any sports that my kids play! I love traveling and cooking, and am a big Louisville Cardinals fan!! Even though I am dedicated to my patients, I believe in having a great work/life balance! I’m looking forward to getting to know you soon!!

Ashlee Cauley, Registered Dental Hygienist
Hi, I’m Ashlee Cauley one of the registered Dental Hygienists who will be taking care of you, along with Dr. Westermann, at your routine dental appointments. I love being able to help people take care of their teeth so that their smiles will last them a lifetime. I do a thorough job, while also being gentle and keeping the patient’s comfort in mind. I’ve only been with Dr. Westermann for a few months, but I am SO blessed to be a part of this dental family! We truly put the patients first.
I’m originally from Bedford, KY but I now live in La Grange, KY. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2010 and have been practicing Dental Hygiene for 12 years. On my off days, I enjoy spending time with my husband Clay and my daughter Ava. I also enjoy reading, watching movies and going to concerts.

Morgan Frederick, Registered Dental Hygienist
Hi! My name is Morgan Frederick and I have been a licensed dental hygienist for 9 years, and will be working closely with the Doctor monitoring your hygiene and maintenance visits. I am licensed to administer local anesthesia as well. I’m told I have a very gentle touch, while doing a very thorough job and believe a personal caring attitude is a must in our profession. I love helping my patients improve their oral health! It’s a blessing to work with such caring doctors and fellow team members who are dedicated to providing the best care for their patients!
I was born and raised right here is Louisville and am proud to have graduated from the Univ. of Louisville in 2016. I am married to my husband, Ryan, and have 2 children, Brady and Noah Jane. I love to spend time with my family but also exercising, gardening and supporting UL sports!

Alice DeWitt, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, Patient Coordinator

I love being able to help patients receive the dental care they need. I am so thrilled to be working for a quality practice that really cares about the patients. I can easily schedule appointments for you and work you with payments and insurance. Seeing the caring relationships that my team has with their patients is so inspiring! I have been here about 6 years now, and am so blessed to be working with such a great team and patients!”
Alice has 20 years experience as an expanded duties assistant, working chairside clinically. She also has experience working with insurance companies, scheduling, and patient management, and can help you with about anything you need here! You will often see her working chairside because she still loves the clinical aspects of dentistry, even though she is mainly at the front desk.
Alice is married to Mike and has two children, Brady and Carter. She loves to play bingo and is a big Cardinals fan!
Kathy Lega, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Hi, I am Kathy Lega. I am the expanded duty dental assistant, who will be working very closely with Dr. Westermann on your clinical care. It is very rewarding to change a decayed or broken tooth and make it new again! It is so gratifying to create a beautiful smile, and boost someone’s self esteem! I love working directly with our patients and making everyone feel comfortable. Your comfort is my top priority! Our gentle touch and caring ways will make your visit painfree.
I have been a dental assistant for 48 years, receiving my dental education from Jefferson State Vocational School and the University of Louisville. I love learning, so keeping up with the latest in dentistry is a true pleasure! I am fortunate to belong to an organization, Dental BootKamp, who teach dentists and their team how to run a successful and ethical dental practice, with the patients well being the primary concern!
I have been married to Alan for 47 years. We have three children, three grandsons Nathan and Dylan and Austin. When I’m not spending time with my family I love running with my “ Sole Sisters”. I have run marathons in 13 different states!

Kristi Blake, EDDA
Hi! My name is Kristi Blake, and I am an expanded duties dental assistant that will help the Dr chairside with your dental treatment. I am passionate about the artistic side of dentistry because it is a true art and fun to do! Its’ so rewarding to see the change in people’s personalities when you give them a beautiful smile! Making patients happy and comfortable is my top priority, so I approach everyone with loving care, kindness and a gentle touch. I graduated in 2006 from ATA College of Dentistry and have worked in all types of offices. I feel blessed to join Dr. Westermann’s team!
I was born and raised in Louisville, and married my husband 20 yrs ago. We now have 2 children, Colton and Claire . The kids keep us busy with sports and activities and we have two dogs, Thor and Nikki. We love to ride ATV’s whenever we get the chance and love being outdoors!

Bart Doerhoefer, Marketing Director
Bart is our office manager and handles all our outside marketing and banking needs. He has been in banking for 41 years and currently also works full time at Fifth Third in the Mortgage Division as a loan officer. His expertise helps run our business smoothly from behind the scenes. We are grateful to have him on our team.
